Before you come in

How to prepare for your VO2 max test

This one is a hard effort. Turning up in the right state is most of the result.

Do not train that day

This is a maximal effort test. Arrive fresh or you will not reach your true ceiling.

Eat lightly, not heavily

A small meal two to three hours before is ideal. Do not come on a full stomach.

Bring training kit

Trainers and clothes you can genuinely push hard in.

Arrive normally hydrated

Not dehydrated, not loaded up on water. Both distort body-composition readings.
