A 12 week protocol at our Bellmore, Stony Brook and Manhattan clinics. Assessed first, started low, scanned at week 0 and week 12.

Plus follow ups at week 6 and week 12, and protein guidance throughout. The two DEXA scans alone are $358 at our front desk.
Same medication. A very different twelve weeks.

| What matters | Most online programs | Prefusion |
|---|---|---|
| Who you see | A form and a video call | Our medical team, in person, before anything is prescribed |
| Your dose | Often stepped up month after month | Starts at 2.5 mg, no step up before week 4, never above 5 mg |
| Your price | Tends to climb as the dose climbs | $299 a month, the same all 12 weeks |
| What gets measured | Your weight | Fat and muscle, by DEXA scan, at week 0 and week 12 |
| Your muscle | Up to you to notice | Protein and lean mass guidance, then checked on the scan |
| Check ins | Mostly by message | Seen by our medical team at week 6 and week 12 |

Most programs step the dose up whenever the scale slows down, and the bill goes up with it. We don't. We keep you at the lowest dose that works, look after your muscle, and measure it.
2.5 mg is the standard clinical starting dose. We just don't race past it, so one vial covers your twelve weeks and the price never moves.
Dosing starts at 2.5 mg and may increase after 4 to 6 weeks based on your tolerance and goals. Doses up to 5 mg (up to 30 mg total across the 12 weeks) are included in the $299/month price. If you and the Prefusion Health medical team decide you need more, that is available at our standard GLP-1 pricing.
Built for steady progress and keeping your strength. If you want the highest dose you can get, this isn't for you, and we'd rather say so now.
All five steps, one price: $299 a month for three months.
“The scale never told the full story. The DEXA scan finally did.”
“Ten out of ten experience, super knowledgeable staff. I did the DEXA scan, RMR and VO2 max, then they sat me down and went through all of it, making sure I understood what my numbers meant and what to do next.”
“Bryan and the team have been consistently awesome to me and my friends. You get your raw scores, it is explained to you in person and on a handy app, and you leave with real recommendations on how to improve.”
These are reviews of our scans and our clinic, not of the GLP-1 program. That program is new and has no clients yet. When it does, and when they are happy for us to say so, their words go here instead.
$299 a month for three months, $897 in total. That covers your evaluation, your GLP-1 medication up to 30 mg, both DEXA scans and both follow ups. Laboratory testing is billed separately, see below.
Yes. You start with the evaluation like everyone else. If you're already on a higher dose than this protocol goes to, our medical team will tell you straight whether it fits you, or whether our standard GLP-1 pricing is the better route.
Because higher isn't automatically better. Push the dose and appetite can vanish, protein goes with it, and that's when people tend to lose muscle along with fat. We'd rather keep you at the lowest dose that works for you and check the result on a scan.
Dosing starts at 2.5 mg and can step up after four to six weeks, based on how you are tolerating it and what you are aiming for. It never goes above 5 mg inside this program, and it never goes up before week four. If you and the medical team decide you need more than 5 mg, that is available at our standard GLP-1 pricing.
Laboratory testing is not part of the $299. Patients may choose to use their health insurance for laboratory testing. Labs are performed and billed directly by an independent third-party laboratory, such as Labcorp. Coverage is determined by your individual insurance plan, and any deductible, copay, coinsurance, non-covered service, or denied claim is the patient's responsibility. Prefusion Health is not responsible for laboratory charges or insurance coverage decisions. Patients who prefer not to use insurance, or who do not have coverage, may choose our cash-pay laboratory option through Quest Diagnostics. Please ask our team if you have questions about which option is right for you.
Show up for your evaluation and first scan, your week 6 follow up, and your week 12 scan. Eat the protein we recommend. That's it.
Then we tell you. The evaluation is a clinical decision, not a formality.
At all three Prefusion clinics: Bellmore (2570 Merrick Road), Stony Brook (213 Hallock Road) and Manhattan (352 7th Avenue). You pick yours when you reserve.
It starts with an evaluation by our medical team. Nothing is prescribed without it.
